Puppies

Puppy Fyzz

As most of you know Bryn was mated to Kia back in November in hope that they would produce a nice litter of healthy puppies. I was contacted at around 3 o'clock Tuesday morning from the breeder to say that the first pup was born. It was quite lucky really as I was being a true student and was out for "Refresher Night". In the end Kia had 5 black and white puppies 3 boys and 2 girls with 4 out of the 5 going to Flyball homes. I am really happy to say that both pups and Mum are doing great and had a vet check up on Thursday.

Cold weather

07/01/2010

So this is the first post in the new year and what a boring start to 2010 it has been! Basically the weather prevented me from doing a lot of training with my dogs that I aimed to do in the Christmas holidays. To top this off I really haven't been motivated at all and just want to stay in the warm house. We have already had our first training session back on Saturday and also a committee meeting and trainers meeting. All were very productive and we got a lot of things sorted out and I was also nomiated to be High Flyers head trainer, scary stuff. Our next four tournaments are all hosted in Yorkshire so a bit of a distance but I am sure it will be worth it. Bryn will also make his open debut on 23rd January at St Legers Horse Park, Doncaster. Looks like the teams are having a bit of a re-shuffle for the start of this tournament as Maizie is in whelp so Floss has been promoted to Flyers as she has been hitting 4.10s. Millie who didn't run well at all at Doncaster being anchor has now been trained to run in third with our Badger reverting back as anchor dog. I am excited to see how all these changes turn out at Doncaster.
